Ini merupakan senarai kadar pengangguran untuk berbagai-bagai negara. Selain ditunjukan sebaliknya, statistik ini adalah berdasarkan kepada The World Factbook.[1] Beberapa entiti tidak berdaulat juga dimasukkan ke dalam senarai ini. Sila maklum yang negara, NGO, dan agensi yang berbeza menafsirkan kadar pengangguran menggunakan definisi dan kaedah yang berbeza. Diberikan perbezaan dramatik dalam sikap kebudayaan terhadap tenaga kerja dan kondisi bekerja yang wujud walaupun diantara negara-negara barat, sebuah definisi yang deskriptif dan objektif mungkin tidak wujud.Soalan-soalan seperti bagaimana kerja sampingan dikira, berapa lama hingga seseorang diluar tenaga kerja, dan status sara hidup belum dipersetujui. Kadar pengangguran sebanding

Oleh sebab perbandingan kadar pengangguran antarabangsa boleh mengelirukan, beberapa pertubuhan-pertubuhan telah menyelaras kadar pengangguran kepada sebuah konsep umum untuk membolehkan perbandingan antarabangsa yang tepat. Perbandingan-perbandingan ini umumnya behubung kait dengan negara-negara maju dan disediakan oleh Bahagian perbandingan buruh antarabangsa, Eurostat, dan bahagian statitiskal OECD.[2]
