Shō Gen (尚元 , Mandarin pinyin: Shàng Yuán; 1528 - 1572) merupakan Raja Kerajaan Ryūkyū (ms. 1557-1572).[1] Dia dikenali sebagai "Gen, bisu."[2] raja memerlukan sokongan besar dari Sanshikan (Majlis Tiga), majlis ketua penasihat diraja. Pemerintahannya menandakan permulaan tugasan Majlis yang lebih berkesan dan efisen berbanding sebelumnya.
