Hannah Delisha (born Hannah Adlina Blackburne Birch; 27 October 1996) ^[1] is a Singaporean actress, singer, model and host. ^[2] ^[3] She started her career as a member of the group Delisha, then appeared in several television dramas produced by MediaCorp Suria. She first made a name for herself in Malaysia through the drama adaptation of the novel Love Your Mr. Photographer.

Early life

Hannah was born on October 27, 1996, as Hannah Adlina Blackburne Birch. ^[4] She is the daughter of Peter Blackburne Birch, who is from England and Noor Ashikin Ahmad, who is from Singapore. Her mother was a singer in the 1980s. ^[5] ^[6]

Career

Hannah is a former member of the duo Delisha, which consists of herself and Mia Delisha. ^[7] They produced a song titled "Retak" (Crack). After becoming a solo singer in 2015, she produced her first single titled "Anugerah" (Award). "Anugerah" (Award) is a song by Akir and Frozen from the group Hyper Act created. In 2017, she produced her second single, "Esok Masih Ada" (There's Still Tomorrow), also a song created by Akir and Frozen from the group Hyper Act. In 2018, she produced her third single, "Tak Perlu Kata Apa-Apa" (Needless To Say Anything).

In addition to singing Malay songs, Hannah can also master more than ten songs in various languages. Among them are Hindi, Japanese, Arabic, Spanish and Chinese songs which she learned gradually under the guidance of her mother, the singer of the 80s, Noor Ashikin Ahmad, who is fondly known as 'Aunt Wujud' because she is known for producing several CDs and DVDs paranormal reality expedition with members of the Wujud crew.

Hannah has also appeared in dramas on the Mediacorp Suria channel, such as Farhana, Kemelut (Crisis), Kathy Gerenti (Kathy Guaranteed), and Bingit (Loud Noise), where acting in Farhana was her first time acting on television. ^[8] In 2017, she won the Most Popular Female Personality award at the 14th Singapore Premiere Festival, where she beat other actresses in the same category, such as Nurul Aini, Izyan Mellyna, Lydia Asyiqin, and Sheryn Aisiqa, despite she was in the field of local Malay Singaporean acting for a short period time (i.e., over a year). Her win in that category also made her one of the youngest winners to win the award at the age of 20.

In 2017, Hannah migrated to Malaysia to develop her talent and make a name for herself through the drama adaptation of the novel Love Your Mr. Photographer with actor Syafiq Kyle who aired on Astro Ria's MegaDrama Slot. ^[9] ^[10]

In 2018, Hannah acted with Hisyam Hamid in the drama Love Address, an adaptation of the popular drama from South Korea, Full House, which aired on Astro Ria's MegaDrama Slot. In the same year, Hannah acted with Aiman Hakim Ridza in the drama I Love Her, which aired on TV3.

In 2019, Hannah acted with Shukri Yahaya in the drama 30 Voice Messages. This drama aired on TV3's Akasia Slot starting on 6 May 2019 and ending on 4 June 2019, airing every day throughout Ramadan.

In 2020, Hannah acted with Kamal Adli in the drama Not Forced Marriage which aired on TV3. Hannah is also one of the main actresses in the Saga 2.0 drama on Mediacorp Suria, playing the role of Sofea. Besides her, it also starred Imam Shah, Hasnul Rahmat, and Shah Iskandar.^[11]

In the same year, Hannah acted with Nelydia Senrose and Saharul Ridzwan in the drama Love Again, which aired on TV3's Akasia Slot.^[12] This was her last drama before wearing the hijab. Hannah then acted with Aeril Zafrel in the drama A Bond Was Created, which aired on Astro Ria's MegaDrama Slot.

In 2021, Hannah acted with her husband, Imam Shah, in the drama Kisah Rumah Tangga (Household Story). This drama aired on Astro Ria in the month of Ramadan. In the same year, Hannah acted with Aiman Hakim Ridza in the drama 28 Days of Finding Love which aired on TV3.

Private life

In 2020, Hannah started wearing a hijab and sharing her migration news on her social media site Instagram.^[13]

She married actor Imam Shah on February 18, 2021, after 5 years of being in a relationship.^[14] ^[15]
