Purpose and function
[sunting sumber]This template is designed to unify the various transliteration schemes and styles employed for Indic scripts. It aims to provide a standard way of representing transliterations.

[sunting sumber]The two letter language code (or three letters if the two letter one does not exist) indicating the language of the text. The following languages are recognised by this template:

[sunting sumber]An audio file indicating the pronunciation of the word in English.
