Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C) Lick Hung atau nama ringkasnya SJK (C) Lick Hung, merupakan sebuah Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan yang terletak di Jalan Ss 19/6.

Pada 2009, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C) Lick Hung memiliki 1767 pelajar lelaki dan 1751 pelajar perempuan, menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan murid seramai 3518 orang. Ia mempunyai seramai 133 orang guru.²⁰⁰⁹

Sejarah

The school was originally founded on May 1, 1939. It was originally funded by the villagers of Bangsarut to build a temporary school building in Yiyada. After the Second World War, the government ordered the demolition of the entire village, and the school also moved to Bangsarut. . At that time, the villagers in the area enthusiastically contributed funds to build a school building to continue classes.

Until 1957, the government wanted to open a new highway to the satellite city of Petaling. The school building was located in the center of the highway, so it was ordered to be demolished and forced to build a temporary school building on the nearby hilltop (now the TV station). In 1958, the school received government subsidies, the chairman was Lu Kun JP, and the principal was Ms. Chen Rennian.

In 1959, the Kuala Lumpur City Education Bureau transferred the state government to take the land as a permanent address, ordered the construction of permanent school buildings as soon as possible, and allowed a subsidy of 30,000 yuan for the construction of six classrooms. In 1960, the new school building was completed. On May 12, the Selangor Legislator Datuk Teo Si Yuan was asked to cut the ribbon for the opening of the new school building.

In view of the geographical environment, the shortage of students, and the gradual decrease in the number of new students enrolled, the board of directors headed by Ms. Zhou Suying, after several meetings and discussions, agreed that the school must relocate to a densely populated area to save itself, and made efforts to request the government to relocate the school.

After many twists and turns, the board of directors finally obtained the approval of the Ministry of Education to allocate a lot in Shoubang City to build six classrooms. The school finally officially opened in Shoubang on December 1, 1991. Ms. Zhu Suyan served as the principal. At that time, there were 298 students and 11 teachers.

At the end of 1992, the Parent-Teacher Association launched a fund-raising campaign from the parents of the school and raised more than RM60,000 to build three multi-purpose classrooms.

Under the Sixth Malaysia Plan, the Ministry of Education allocated funds to build six more classrooms. However, due to the surge in the number of students, a school building committee was established on October 1, 1993 to raise funds to build 12 additional classrooms. The new school building was completed that year and opened in 1994.

In 1995, the school construction committee headed by Chairman Dato' Chen Yingnan actively embarked on the second phase of the school construction plan. In May 1996, a stately new school building with 28 classrooms was finally completed and opened in early 1997. The number of students has ballooned to 2,232 that year, with 72 classrooms. The new school building was officially opened on September 3, 1997, presided over by the Minister of Transport and President of MCA Datuk Seri Dr Lim Leong Sik.

The school has gone through many hardships of relocation, and the initial dismal operation was due to the full support and assistance of the directors. Later, it moved to the current location.
