Noncommercial license not permitted on WMF projects

We were notified of this template at commons:Commons:Village_pump#Wikimedia_projects_still_using_non-commercial-only_images.3F. Wikimedia Foundation wikis are never permitted to accept any content under a noncommercial license. This template and all images using it must be deleted at once. I'd appreciate a local admin assisting with this. If there is not prompt compliance I will seek assistance from the Foundation. Dcoetzee (bincang) 06:01, 28 Februari 2011 (UTC)

Looking at foundation:Resolution:Licensing policy, the statement "never permitted to accept any content under a noncommercial license" is only true for images uploaded after March 23, 2007. Most/all of the pictures involved in this case were uploaded prior to that, so they should go through a discussion process. This is only just happening now. Whats the rush? Yes the template is not acceptable but deleting the template makes it harder to locate and go through the files. If the files are all in one category it is easy to sort them by uploader and inform them about the problem with the files. If you do not want to restore the template temporary I suggest that a template with "Depreciated license. Please replace with a new one <link to license options>" + [[Category:Cc-by-nc-2.0 files to be fixed]] or something like that is created. --MGA73 (bincang) 18:23, 1 Mac 2011 (UTC)

I created Templat:Cc-by-nc-2.0-dual to be used for Pengguna:Yosris files and will change license a little later. --MGA73 (bincang) 17:20, 4 Mac 2011 (UTC)

All files were relicensed but on. And this last image is now fixed (Fail:JalurGemilangBg.jpg) - Flickr user changed the license. So the template is unused and can be deleted. --MGA73 (bincang) 17:08, 16 Mac 2011 (UTC)
