Pencarian kecerdasan luar angkasa
Pencarian kecerdasan luar angkasa (bahasa Inggeris: Search for extraterrestrial intelligence, SETI) merupakan istilah kolektif untuk pencarian saintifik untuk kecerdasan kehidupan luar angkasa, contohnya, memantau sinaran elektromagnet untuk tanda-tanda penghantaran dari tamadun di planet lain.[1][2][3]
Penyelidikan saintis bermula sesaat setelah munculnya radio pada awal 1900-an, dan keupayaan antarabangsa yang difokuskan telah berlangsung sejak tahun 1980-an. Pada tahun 2015 Stephen Hawking dan jutawan Rusia Yuri Milner mengumumkan usaha yang dibiayai dengan baik yang dikenali sebagai Inisiatif Kejayaan.[4]
